Dr. Gerard Kester, PhD, is currently a part time consultant to the Dutch Trade Union Federation (FNV). His areas of specialization include labour relations and industrial democracy. He was an associate professor at the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, and worked as researcher or visiting professor in several universities in Africa, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Malta. His teaching research and publication are in the area of labour relations, workers’ self management, democratic workers participation and industrial democracy.
Mr Anthony Yaw Baah , BA, MSc , PhD, He is the head of the Research Department of the TUC (Ghana). His area of specialization is Labour Economics. His teaching, research and publication are in Labour Economics.
Mr Kwesi Adu-Amankwah, BA, MA, is the Secretary General of the Trades Union Congress (Ghana). His specialization is Development and Labour Studies. His teaching, research and publication is in Trade Union History, Environmental Health and Policy Analysis
Mr David Dorkernoo, BA, MA, is the Head of International Department of the TUC (Ghana). His specialization is in Development and Labour Studies as well as adult Education. His teaching research and publication are in Occupational Health, socio-economic, and Labour Issues
Ms. Josephine Abakah, Dip. Ed., BA, MA [Human Resource Management], is the Head of Education Department and the Principal of the Ghana Labour College, the Training Institution of the TUC (Ghana). Her area of specialization is Industrial Relations. In the field of teaching, research and publication, her area is training and labour management.
Prof. TchaboureAime Gogue, B.Sc, MA, and PhD is the Managing Director of BEST International, Togo. His areas of specialization include Econometrics and International Economics. He was a professor of Economics at the Université du Benin, Lome and worked as visiting professor in many universities in Africa, Canada, France and the US. His teaching, research and publication are in Development Economics, Economic Policy, International Trade, International Monetary Economics, Economics of Human Resources, and Research Methodology.
Mr Kessie Moodley , H.E.D., BA Law, B.Proc, is the Director of the Workers’ College of Durban, South Africa. His areas of specialization are in Private Law, African Politics, and Economics as well as adult education. His teaching and research areas are collective bargaining, strategic planning, and trade union education.

Prof. Kwamina Panford BA, MA, MILR, PhD, is the associate vice Provost of the Northeastern University. His area of specialization is Law and Public Policy and Industrial and Labour relations. His teaching, research and publication are in the areas of international/comparative Human rights, Public policy, Law and Development and international organizations with special emphasis on Africa/developing countries.
Ms. June Rose Hartley, MA, MBA, is the project manager of the international Textile Garment and Leather Workers’ Federation (ITGLWF). Her areas of specialization are Sociology of Labour and Business Administration. Her teaching, training and other career activities are in Gender and Labour Relations, South African Labour History, Employment Services, Trade Union and Civic Organizations Capacity Building.
Mr. Yaw Opoku , Dip Ed, BA, LLB, is the Deputy Registrar of the Ghana Law School. His areas of specialization include industrial relations, Regional Planning and Labour Law. His teaching research and publications are in Labour Law and Industrial Relations.
